Phoenix Advances to Divisional Series Saturday, September 27th , 2025 The Phoenix Gladiators have swept the Austin Desperados and are on to the Divisional Series. Phoenix won 7-0 today at Dell Diamond to clinch the Wildcard Game. "We're happy to have put the dagger in when we had the chance," said Phoenix right fielder Corey Cawley, who was named MVP for the series. "It could have been a tough series to finish if we let them start winning." Cawley won the award with a .500 batting average and a .571 on-base percentage. He had 0 home runs, drove in 2 RBI and scored 2 runs. The Phoenix Gladiators will play against the Philadelphia Marauders in the next round. Philadelphia had a bye in the Wildcard Game.
