Injury Sidelines Chris Dries For Year
Tuesday, May 23rd , 2023
When Chris Dries was hurt against the Detroit Giants, the Philadelphia Marauders were hopeful that the injury was not serious. However, it proved to be more severe than first thought. The 28-year-old starting pitcher suffered a partially torn ulnar collateral ligament throwing a pitch in yesterday's game. Team doctors told BNN today that Dries would miss 10-11 months of the season.
To this point in the season, Dries shows a 0-3 record, 6 starts, 33 innings, 28 strikeouts and a 6.00 ERA.
