Ferro Strokes 5 Hits Saturday, September 9th , 2023 Syracuse shortstop Tim Ferro had a day to remember, 5-for-6 against the Carolina Reapers at Reedy River Stadium as the Scorpions picked up a win, 13-8. "He was patient up there," Syracuse skipper Ricardo Lopez told the press after the game. "I like the way he waited for his pitch and wasn't overly aggressive. Ferro has a tendency to chase bad balls sometimes." Tim Ferro singled in the 1st, doubled in the 3rd, hit a two-run single in the 4th, singled in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th and singled in the 9th. Ferro is hitting .265 this year with 7 home runs, 37 RBIs and 51 runs scored. He has 105 hits in 396 at-bats, 26 walks and a .311 on-base percentage. Ferro has played in 117 games.
