Cannonballers Pitching Ravaged by Hebert Wednesday, April 24th , 2024 It doesn't happen very often, but it did for Rich Hebert -- a 5-hit effort. He went on a rampage at Keelhaulers Ballpark and paced the 19-4 Desperados win over the Cottage City Cannonballers. After his dynamite batting performance, the Santa Rosa shortstop told reporters that he "just tried to get in a good count and have a good at-bat. That's all I can control." His philosophy paid dividends today. He slammed 5 hits in 6 tries and put his name in the record book. Rich Hebert hit a GRAND SLAM off Gabe Mondragon in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th, grounded out in the 7th and hit an RBI single in the 8th. So far this season, Hebert is batting .302 with 1 home run, 10 RBIs and 5 runs scored. He has 13 hits in 43 at-bats, 12 walks and a .446 OBP. Hebert has played in 17 games.
