Castillo Blisters London Sunday, August 25th , 2024 Ernesto Castillo was at the head of a Stockton Ragin Cajuns hit parade at Ballpark of Stockton. The 26-year-old went to the plate 5 times and came away with 5 hits, but it was the London Tigers that marched off with the 13-7 win. "We didn't have it today," griped Ragin Cajuns skipper Jeffrey Troke following the game. "Ernesto did fine, but as a team, we didn't do it with the bats and we didn't do it pitching." Castillo did more than fine, dominating the Tigers at the plate during his record-making 5-for-5 performance. "Each time I went to the plate, I was thinking about hitting the ball hard somewhere," the sweet-swinging first baseman told reporters. "When I focus on that, I usually have quality at-bats." Ernesto Castillo singled in the 1st, hit a three-run home run off Willie Trevino in the 2nd, doubled in the 5th, hit an RBI single in the 6th and doubled in the 9th.
