Sonoma Wins Top Spot in Western AA Coastal Division
Thursday, September 5th , 2024
The Sonoma Scorpions clubhouse more closely resembled a college party tonight as the team officially captured the Western AA Coastal Division.

Laughter abounded and loud music blared as players and coaches alike celebrated the accomplishment.

"It's not often you get to kick back and let loose with your teammates," said closer Mauricio Martinez. "We've earned the right to party a little bit. And then we can focus on getting it done in the playoffs."

Team manager Keith Young said even the coaching staff can enjoy occasions like this.

"I'm proud of my guys, they deserve this," he said.

It's the 1st division championship for the team, and they will be seeking their 1st ABA Double A championship.
Suns Clinch Wild Card
Thursday, September 5th , 2024
The Aurora Suns are celebrating a trip to the postseason and say they plan to make the most of the opportunity.

The team officially clinched a wild card berth today and reliever Ramon Landa said they are "looking forward to making some noise" in the playoffs.

"There's nothing better than postseason baseball," he said. "We hope to go on a deep run and give our fans in Aurora something to be excited about."

For now, excitement is running high as the team's 81-59 record has clinched the playoff position and the team has a chance to win its 2nd ABA Double A championship.
Eastern AA Northern Division Won: Riverside Crowned
Thursday, September 5th , 2024
It's official! The Riverside Rotters have secured the top spot in the Eastern AA Northern Division. Riverside's manager Hermenegildo Fernando was quick to give credit to his players.

"They believed in this team all year, and never gave up."

It won't be an easy road for Riverside as they try to compete for their 1st World Series victory. They have to hope that their success will translate to the post-season, which is certainly not always the case. This was the 7th division title for the team.
