Caird Big Deal in London: Hits for Cycle Sunday, August 25th , 2024 Ryan Caird punished the Stockton Ragin Cajuns, leading the Tigers to a win, 13-7. In doing so, Caird hit for the cycle, tagging the Ragin Cajuns for 4 hits in 6 at-bats. A player hitting a single, a double, a triple and a home run in the same game is one of the more unusual feats in professional baseball and typically happens only a couple times per season. "Well, I didn't expect that to happen," the London second baseman said after the game. "I got some great pitches and I hit their mistakes." Caird also had 2 RBI and 2 runs scored in the game at Ballpark of Stockton. Ryan Caird flied out in the 1st, tripled in the 3rd, hit a solo-shot off Andy Mendelson in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, doubled in the 8th and hit an RBI single in the 9th.
