Hits Blitz for Bruins Thomas Monday, June 9th , 2025 Most fans have never seen a player hit for the cycle, and most players have never done it -- but it happened today at Ballpark of Lexington. Tony Thomas of the Westwood Bruins accomplished the feat against New Rochelle Purple Wave. Thomas went 6-for-8 with 1 single, 2 doubles, 2 triples and 1 home run in the 4-3 Westwood victory. "That was one for the grandkids, am I right?" Thomas said after the game. Thomas also scored 1 run and had 2 runs batted in in a day to remember for both Thomas and the crowd at Ballpark of Lexington. Tony Thomas tripled in the 1st, hit an RBI double in the 3rd, doubled in the 6th, hit a solo-shot off Ron Lombardi in the 8th, flied out in the 10th, flied out in the 13th, tripled in the 15th and singled in the 17th.
