AC Star of the Week Named Monday, April 15th , 2024 It was an extraordinary week for Corey Pope of the Fountain Hills 23ers. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .357, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the American Conference. Last week Pope went 10-for-28, racked up 5 home runs and 14 RBIs and scored 6 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Fountain Hills left fielder. This season, Pope is batting .369 with 24 RBIs, 14 runs scored and 7 home runs. |
