Kukowski Powers 3 HR Against Vancouver Friday, April 5th , 2024 It was a good day for the Halifax Heathens and an exceptional one for Eric Kukowski. The 24-year-old right fielder sent three bombs out of the park to help the Heathens beat the Vancouver Caribou, 10-9, at Mounties Field. "When you're in the zone, the game really slows down," Kukowski said when asked about his performance later. "I couldn't even tell you what pitches were thrown. Today feels great, but it is a long season and tomorrow is another day." For the day, he scored 3 times, drove in 3 runs and smacked 3 hits in 5 at-bats. Eric Kukowski hit a solo-shot off Jaden Mack in the 1st, hit a solo-shot off Jaden Mack in the 2nd, grounded out in the 4th, hit a solo-shot off Mike Strasser in the 6th and flied out in the 8th. Thus far this season, Kukowski has hit .387 with 4 home runs, 5 RBIs and scored 11 times. |
