Charleston's Ziersch Injured, Out of Lineup Friday, April 5th , 2024 Nelson Ziersch of the Charleston Sea Dogs was injured in today's game against Indianapolis and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is hamstring tendinitis, and he is expected to be out for up to 1-2 weeks. It happened while Ziersch was running the bases. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." In the current season, Ziersch has put up a .323 batting average with 10 hits, no home runs, 6 runs batted in and scored 7 runs. |
