Manager Evans Gets Walking Papers in San Diego Saturday, March 4th , 2023 Looking like he hadn't slept in 24 hours, fired San Diego Fleet manager Chris Evans met the media before heading back to his hometown. Evans was fired by Fleet general manager Jay today. "It stinks. It's miserable. I hate it," Evans said. "But that's baseball. I'm sure there's a silver lining here somewhere. I'll call you guys when I find it." |
