Gladiators Ariëns Out Rest Of Season Saturday, September 21st , 2024 Ton Ariëns has to call it a season. The Phoenix Gladiators third baseman sustained a season-ending injury against the Halifax Heathens and will not play again this year according to club doctors. Ariëns was injured while running the bases. His doctors diagnosed it as a fractured ankle and stated that he would not be able to play for 4 months. During the current season Ariëns is batting at a .275 clip with 29 home runs and 86 RBIs. He has played in 143 games and scored 73 times. |
