Setback for Maine and Josh Alcorn Thursday, September 5th , 2024 Maine Pines third baseman Josh Alcorn informed reporters that he will be missing additional time because of a setback in his recovery from a pulled abdominal muscle. "It's a bit frustrating, sure," Alcorn admitted. "I want to be out on the field. At the same time, I don't want to make things worse and miss even more time because I'm pushing it too hard." Pines doctors told BNN Alcorn would not return for one week. Alcorn is hitting at a .292 mark this season. His stats show 26 home runs, 80 RBIs and 73 runs scored. He has played 138 games for the Pines. |
