National Conference West Division Champions Crowned Wednesday, September 4th , 2024 There's still a ways to go before the American Baseball Association regular season wraps up, but there won't be any drama in the National Conference West Division. The San Diego Fleet have easily clinched the division crown, their 17th as a franchise. "We did what we set out to do, you can't ask for any more than that," said starting pitcher B.J. Gonzalez. Team manager Brian Burnett said it's "been a pleasure" to lead his club thus far this year and he is looking forward to the postseason, where San Diego will be looking for its 3rd American Baseball Association championship. |
