Everything went the way of the Oakland Invaders, who not only came away with the 3-2 victory over Charleston, but also held Ortiz hitless in 4 at-bats to put an end to his 20-game hitting streak. "It was a good run," Ortiz said afterward. "It would be much easier to take right now if we had won." So far this year, Ortiz has hit .305 with 16 home runs, 88 RBIs and 105 runs scored. |
