Kirkham Takes Best Bat Award in August Sunday, September 1st , 2024 Willie Kirkham made his presence known as one of the best young stars in the American Conference this past month. The Boston Whistlers right fielder shined through the month of August and has won the Batter of the Month award. The 24-year-old hit .398 with 11 home runs, 21 RBIs and 20 runs scored. At the moment, Kirkham is hitting .322 with 29 home runs and 80 RBIs. He has played in 133 games and scored 79 times. |
