Year Ends for John Piscitelli in Oakland Friday, August 30th , 2024 The Oakland Invaders and their fans were rocked today by the news that star left fielder John Piscitelli would miss the rest of the season due to injury. Piscitelli was hurt in a recent game against the Tampa Bay Captains while running the bases. He was immediately removed from the game and taken for examination. Tests today revealed the injury was a broken bone in the elbow. His doctors think that Piscitelli will miss about 5 months. So far this season, Piscitelli is hitting .316 with 17 home runs. |
