NC Best Rookie Award Announced Sunday, October 1st , 2023 Dale Day's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young San Diego right fielder has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In September he was voted the Rookie of the Month. During the month he hit .301 with 6 doubles, no triples and 11 home runs. Day also scored 25 times and drove in 21 runs. This season in 54 games, Day has hit at a .316 clip with 72 hits, 17 home runs, 35 RBIs and 52 runs scored. |
