Kirkham Wins Best Bat Trophy in September Sunday, October 1st , 2023 Willie Kirkham has a lot going for him. The Boston left fielder just broke into the majors this year and now the American Conference has just picked him as its top hitter for September. In 21 games last month this outstanding rookie batted .333 with 11 home runs, 26 RBIs and 15 runs scored. In 102 games this season, Kirkham has compiled a .298 batting average with 93 hits and 29 home runs. He has also scored 57 times and knocked in 66 runs. |
