Austin's Campos Claims AC Triple Crown Wednesday, September 27th , 2023 Few men in league history have won the pitching triple crown. Sam Campos of the Austin Desperados joined this elite company today when the season ended, officially making him the league leader in ERA, K's and wins. Campos put up a 18-4 record, an ERA of 2.25 and 263 strikeouts this season. He started 33 times, walked 75 and held opposing clubs to a .194 average. Campos is the odds-on favorite to capture the Cy Young Award this year. |
