Posadas Belts Bunch of Base Hits Sunday, September 24th , 2023 Getting 5 hits in a game has always been memorable feat in baseball. In the Oakland's 6-5 win over Carolina, catcher Juan Posadas was red-hot, scorching them for hit after hit at Howard Terminal. "To hit the ball consistently well, you have to relax," Posadas said afterward. "I was relaxed for the first four hits, but I have to admit, I got a little tight when I realized I had a chance for five. On the last at-bat, I was ready to swing at anything close." Juan Posadas flied out in the 2nd, doubled in the 4th, singled in the 6th, singled in the 8th, singled in the 11th, grounded out in the 12th and singled in the 15th.
