Scorpions Out of Time, Out of Playoffs Friday, September 8th , 2023 The Syracuse Scorpions will have to play out the season without even the faintest glimmer of hope for a late-season playoff push. The club was mathematically eliminated today from postseason contention. The Scorpions have made the playoffs 5 times in their 24 years as a American Baseball Association franchise. This playoff miss is the club's 4th in a row, with their last postseason appearance coming in 2019. In the last 10 seasons, the Scorpions have only made the playoffs once. |
