Ward Voted August's #1 Newcomer Friday, September 1st , 2023 Youngster Dusty Ward emerged as the latest National Conference Rookie of the Month today. The young man from San Francisco deserved the honor, batting .388 with 7 home runs and 18 runs batted in. Is the month of August a harbinger of things to come or just a fluke? We'll find out someday, but for now, we'll just let Ward enjoy the limelight. Ward is currently hitting at a .348 pace with 11 home runs, 32 RBIs and has scored 49 times. |
