August's Premier Pitcher Announced by NC Friday, September 1st , 2023 August's best hurler was Dennis Allen of Oakland. He overwhelmed NC hitters all month long and captured the Pitcher of the Month award as he collected a 4-0 record in 5 starts. The 25-year-old Allen added 38 strikeouts in 36 innings and 9 walks to his season record and compiled a 1.25 ERA. Other clubs hit .179 against him. Thus far this season, Allen has posted a 10-2 record, started 14 games, struck out 98 batters in 95.2 innings and compiled a 3.10 ERA. |
