Big Bat Pays Off, Roachell Player of the Week Monday, August 26th , 2024 Hollywood fans have something to crow about today as Hollywood third baseman Dustin Roachell nabbed the National Conference Player of the Week Award for his performance over the last seven days. "I know there are times when it's hard to lay off pitches. Everyone goes through stretches when he's too eager to put the ball in play. You know, though, I feel like this past week I was able to get in the right frame of mind and just let things come naturally," said Roachell. He posted a .433 average (13-for-30) this past week with 6 home runs, 9 RBIs, and 8 runs scored. Roachell's current batting average stands at .292 and he has chalked up 26 home runs and 59 RBIs. |
