Jon Pitts Hits #300

At Trash Panda Field Jon Pitts smashed his 300th career home run in a game against Toronto today. The 32-year-old first baseman had a hand in the San Diego Fleet 13-10 victory with 1 home run and 3 RBI. For the day he went 2 hits-6 at-bats.
At the press conference after the game, Pitts downplayed his achievement.
"To reach 300 home runs is amazing and something I'll always cherish. I've been fortunate to remain healthy and play at a high level through most of my career."
Pitts has a lifetime .289 average with 1823 hits, 356 doubles, 28 triples, 300 home runs and 1000 RBIs to date.
