Dallas-Tampa Bay Announce Swap Wednesday, July 31st , 2024 In a hastily called press conference, Dallas announced today a trade with Tampa Bay that will send 20-year old minor league LF Andy Jacobi and 21-year old minor league LF Matt Strader to the Captains in exchange for 28-year old 3B Rocky Hawke. All players are expected to be in their respective new cities in time for today's games. Tampa Bay will retain a portion of Hawke's remaining contract. For the season, Hawke has produced 88 hits in 362 at-bats for a .243 average with 13 home runs and gotten on base at a .337 clip. |
