Fountain Hills's McGonigle Injured, Out of Lineup Tuesday, July 23rd , 2024 Wade McGonigle of the Fountain Hills 23ers was injured in today's game against Toronto and had to be helped off the field by the trainers. The initial diagnosis is biceps tendinitis, and he is expected to be out for up to 3 weeks. It happened while McGonigle was throwing a pitch. "It hurt a lot, to be honest. I just hope it heals soon and I can get back on the field." For the year, McGonigle has 4 saves. In 24 relief appearances he has hurled 52.2 innings, fanned 74 and issued 7 walks with a 6-2 record. The Fountain Hills reliever has recorded a 2.39 ERA and allowed the opposition to hit .191 when he is on the hill. |
