Indianapolis, Charleston Close Deal Sunday, June 8th , 2025 The Baseball News Network is reporting that Indianapolis and Charleston have agreed in principle to a swap that will send 25-year old RF Chris Boyd to the Sea Dogs with 23-year old minor league LHP Dusty Nelson joining the Eagles. Indianapolis general manager Matt Clements would not confirm the trade, but a team representative close to the negotiations said the deal is official and is now only awaiting approval from the league. This year, Boyd is hitting .173 with 4 home runs. |
