AC Names New York's Black Top Rookie Thursday, June 1st , 2023 Rob Black's eyes seem to light up whenever he sees the baseball. The young New York left fielder has been hitting everything in sight for the better part of a month. In May he was voted the Rookie of the Month. During the month he hit .248 with 6 doubles, no triples and 13 home runs. Black also scored 22 times and drove in 25 runs. Thus far in 2023, Black is hitting .261 with 24 home runs, 51 RBIs, 40 runs scored and has compiled a .312 OBP. |
