Julio's Condition Worse, Suffers Another Setback Sunday, May 11th , 2025 The Phoenix Gladiators trainer was the bearer of bad news today, as it was learned Clemente Julio's injury will keep him out of the lineup for longer than expected. The Gladiators first baseman is being treated for a torn ligament in his thumb. During a routine exam, Julio's condition was found to be worse than originally diagnosed and he is now expected to rehab at least another 3 months. Clemente Julio is expected to undergo surgery in Phoenix(Arizona) tomorrow. This year, Julio has batted at a .313 pace with 41 hits, 6 home runs, 32 RBIs and scored 22 times. |
