Recovery Slow for Giants Steve McLaughlin Monday, May 15th , 2023 The Detroit Giants plan to take it slow with center fielder Steve McLaughlin, knowing that his recovery from a concussion would likely include a few bumps in the road. A team spokesman told BNN, "Steve has up days and down days. It's still a process. He was feeling really good and then he had a step back. The doctors say it will be about one week before he can be activated." This season, McLaughlin is swinging the bat at a .263 pace. He has hit 3 home runs and scored 11 times, while driving in 15. His on-base percentage is .310 and he has played in 21 games. |
