King Batters Detroit for 5 Hits Saturday, May 13th , 2023 Scott King of the Oakland Invaders outhit everybody on the field at Ballpark of Detroit, but it was all for naught. Even as King personally tore up the Detroit Giants with a 5-for-8 day, the Giants were sending his Invaders down to defeat, 7-6. Scott King singled in the 1st, walked in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, grounded out in the 6th, singled in the 9th, flied out in the 10th, flied out in the 11th, doubled in the 14th and singled in the 16th.
