The 24-year-old left fielder went about his business with vigor last week to grab the National Conference Player of the Week honors. He compiled a .519 average (14-for-27) with 1 home run, 4 RBIs and 10 runs scored. To date this year, Ortiz is batting .354 with 6 home runs. |
