Dallas Trades Schwartz to Boston for Bugbee Monday, April 24th , 2023 Proving the old adage that one man's trash is another man's treasure, the Dragons announced today the acquisition of 24-year old 1B B.B. Bugbee and a 4th round draft pick from the Boston Whistlers in exchange for 24-year old minor league RHP John Schwartz. "This isn't the deal of the century," acknowledged the Dragons, "but we think it will improve the direction of both teams." Schwartz has appeared in 45 games and earned 4 saves over his career. His ledger sheet also shows 5 wins and 5 losses and a 3.64 ERA with 72 strikeouts in 66.2 innings. |
