Reapers Lose to Heathens in Walk-Off
Fans watched the Halifax Heathens and the Carolina Reapers fight to the finish.

The Halifax Heathens scored a tight, 2-1 win versus the Carolina Reapers at Estadio Azteca. Halifax pitcher Adam D'Alberto held his own in the contest. The setback makes Carolina 34-40.

Keith Tarrant was the walk-off hero for Halifax. With the game tied in the bottom of the ninth inning, the Heathens left fielder hit a dramatic run-scoring single to send the teams home.

"It never gets old," said D'Alberto. "Winning, that is."
