In a tight contest at The Hideout, the Chicago Gangsters edged the Hollywood Stars by the score of 7-6. Chicago first baseman Mike Gohlke, who blasted 1 home run, was a key contributor. Chicago is 27-47 and Hollywood, with the loss, 33-41.

The game came to a dramatic end. In the bottom of the ninth, with Chicago trailing 6-4, Gohlke hit a fastball from Jason Hollenbeck for a 3-run home run, giving the Gangsters the walk-off win.

"Nice to see our side come away with the win," Gohlke said after the game.
