Rodolfo Soto, who finished 4th in the NC in wins with 16 in 2019, propelled his team to victory over the Vancouver Caribou. The final score was 7-6, Daytona Beach. The loss makes Vancouver 37-31.

Daytona Beach got a clutch hit from Jordan Thompson. The designated hitter socked a 2-run home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 5 at-bats, but it was game-ender.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Thompson said.
