Brito Stars for Mounties in 7-4 Win
The Vancouver Mounties topped the Carolina Reapers, 7-4, with designated hitter Javier Brito playing a big role. Brito was 2 for 4 with 2 home runs, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice for the Mounties in the win. Vancouver, at 26-40, holds down last place in the National Conference West Division.

Vancouver went up, 5-4, on Dave Agee's 3rd home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Agee hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Carolina pitcher Kevin Farris muttering to himself.

"In this profession, you've got to put the good and the bad behind you quickly," Carolina skipper Julio Rodriguez said.
