Gangsters Deal Whistlers 6-5 Loss
The Gangsters earned a hard-fought, 6-5 win in 12 innings at The Hideout. To do so required withstanding a fine effort from Boston pitcher Matthew Rowlands. Rowlands went 7 innings and allowed 2 runs. The win has Chicago at 24-40.

The Gangsters got a clutch hit from designated hitter Brandon Titus. In the bottom of the 12th, he hit a run-scoring single to left-center, to win the game for the Gangsters.

Titus said afterward that he was "glad the fans were treated to a good ballgame."
