Marauders Get Hard-Earned Win
The Philadelphia Marauders defeated the Fountain Hills 23ers, 5-4, at Marauders Ballpark. Leading the charge for Philadelphia was left fielder Danny Pierce. He was 3-4 with a home run and a double, while scoring 2. Philadelphia is now 44-20, 8 games up in the American Conference North East Division.

The decisive blow was delivered by Eric Langley in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a solo home run off 30-year old right-handed pitcher Wilfredo Rodriguez to win the game for Philadelphia. The home crowd went nuts.

"I keep on showing up every day and trying to put up good at-bats and find good pitches to hit," said Pierce.
