Sea Turtles Pick Up 5-2 Win Against Charleston
The Daytona Beach Sea Turtles picked up a win at Leatherback Park, taking down the Charleston Sea Dogs, 5-2. Starting pitcher Scott Reynolds was a big reason why. David Rogers notched his 13th save in 16 chances. Daytona Beach is 27-37 and Charleston, with the loss, 46-18.

Daytona Beach took a 2-1 lead on Jordan Thompson's 9th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Thompson hit in the bottom of the seventh, left Charleston pitcher David Edgemon visibly frustrated.

Thompson attributed the win to "everyone pulling their weight."
