Halifax Gets 3-0 Win Behind Lefty D'Alberto
Halifax pitcher Adam D'Alberto had a large part in his team subduing the Phoenix Gladiators, 3-0. The opposition could never mount much of a rally against the left-hander. Halifax is now 31-33, Phoenix 31-33.

Though he did not get the decision, D'Alberto did all he could to keep his team close, twirling a shutout through 6.2 innings, until Halifax eventually rallied past the Gladiators.

"It takes a lot of things to win a ballgame," said Halifax manager David Morris. "It's usually not just one thing."
