Dallas Dragons starter Ben O'Halloran was in fine form. He led his team to victory over the Austin Desperados, 5-1. Rick Ways earned the save for Dallas, his 4th. With the win over Austin, the Dragons improved to 27-35.

Justin Bellamy had a big hit for Dallas in the bottom of the third inning. With Dallas leading 1-0, Bellamy hit a 3-run home run. It was his 2nd home run of the season and put the Dragons up, 4-0.

Dallas manager Edgar Puente commended his team for "doing what it takes to win."
