The Dallas Dragons defeated the San Francisco Fire, 9-7. Shortstop Jay Pearson deserved a large share of the credit. Pearson was 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk, while scoring 3 and driving in 2 for the Dragons. The win gives Dallas a record of 6-1.

Cole Calkins, who finished 2nd in the NC in runs with 95 in 2020, helped out the Dallas cause in the bottom of the sixth inning with a bases-clearing double. For the game, the designated hitter was 3-5 with 2 doubles, while adding 4 RBI.

"We'll kick back tonight, then get set for the next one," Pearson said.
