Nightmare Get Clutch Win, 3-2
|
New York left-hander Pat Hovhannisian helped his team edge Hollywood by the score of 3-2. Hovhannisian kept the opposing lineup in check. New York, at 25-36, sits in third place in the American Conference North East Division.
The decisive blow was delivered by Ronnie Marshall in the bottom of the tenth when he hit a run-scoring double off 25-year old left-handed pitcher Jason Hollenbeck to win the game for New York. The home crowd went nuts.
New York manager called it "a darn good win."
