The Fountain Hills 23ers knocked off the San Francisco Fire, 6-1, in American Conference action at Fountain Park. Fountain Hills pitcher and Artondale, Washington, native Tom Mott had an outstanding performance. Mott got the win, improving to 4-4. He gave up 7 hits and walked 1 over 8.2 innings.
