Chicago Nets 9-8 Win Versus Sea Turtles
The Chicago Gangsters outlasted Ross Dorough and the Daytona Beach Sea Turtles, 9-8. Dorough was impressive in the loss. The Daytona Beach third baseman was 1 for 2 with a home run and 2 walks. He scored 2 runs and drove in 3. Keith Kramer, now 1-1, was credited with the win in 1.1 innings of relief. He allowed 2 runs on 2 hits, while striking out 1 and walking 2. The setback makes Daytona Beach 26-33.

Chicago got a clutch hit from Josh Kuhn. The pinch hitter launched a solo home run in the bottom of the ninth inning to win the game. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a kill shot.

"We couldn't have scripted it any better," Kuhn said in his postgame press conference.
