Pittman Helps Fleet Defeat Giants, 7-5
A 5-RBI performance from the former first round draft pick Paul Pittman helped the San Diego Fleet beat the Detroit Giants, 7-5. The second-place Giants now sit at 32-26.

Pittman contributed in the bottom of the fifth. With runners on 1st and 2nd, he hit a 3-run home run. It was one at-bat among others that helped San Diego get the win.

"We took advantage of our opportunities," Pittman told the San Diego Observer. "It's as simple as that."
